thinkin of shifting it across to the right, and sticking a rear bumber on the front, any one got any pics of one? so i can see what it looks like?
there is a mk3 flying round blackpool like this, looks cool as but i only briefly saw it!

Front and rear bumpers are different, you will never get the trim caps to fit as the front bumper follows the grill and headlight shape. the rear is pretty much straight.

Im worried why you'd want to move the plate anyway, Mk3's should really be left as they are,.............. a classic!

did you know the mot will soon include checking the position and angle of the number plate? next year iirc

because anpr cameras cannot pick them up if they are mounted at more than 18 deg angle...

interesting fact lol

+1 lol. as for this thread. just leave the mk3 as it is. there is a blue cab with porsche wheels with the number plate move & full length bumper strip as you said but they really do look better standard

i had oil cooler mounted in the bumper so put on a little plate just to have something, most of the time i ran without a front plate

i know the rear dont fit, i couldnt be arsed to explain, ive got the front bumper, and was gonna put a rear bumper strip on it, then move the plate, i saw a mk3 done and it looked pretty good, its gettin sprayed in audi r8 white so its not gonna be original anyways? but thanks for the imput

Personally id leave it alone. I had a square plate on the front of one of my mk3's a few years ago and lookin back now it looked sh*t.

Havin said that that its your car. Try it, you can always change it back cant you.

when it finished im gonna get the spayer to do both plastic bits, so i can see it either way? with the two peice plastic or the one peice plastic, ive found the car i was looking for, just need him to get some pics up now, ill bang em on here see what you think

found the car in question, if you replace the 2 half bumper strips with the rear one so you have one solid line what you think?
