hi can anyone help me , my fiesta rs 1800 had a fuel leak today pissing out where the 2 connector pins sit on the fuel injector , phoned ford and they want £200 for 1 injector. well ive got a spare 2.0l zetec silver top engine and have the fuel rail and a full set of 2.0l injectors .
question is with them running similar bhp would the 2.0l injectors be fine running in a 1.8 engine
if anyones got a fiesta rs1800 fuel rail with injectors i would be willing to buy them for a good price (it must be rs1800 not xr2i as the injectors are specific for the car) any help would be great

No but I have run 1.8 injectors on a 2.0 engine if that is any use to you?

 

how good did it run and was it ok under full load

 

It was a mildly tuned N/A Zetec and it was perfectly fine

 

did you change the injector caps as the 1.8 injectors have a single hole and the 2.0l has twin holes

 

No just kept them the same
