Default bike engine tuning

Can anyone advice what is needed to tune a suzuki hayabusa engine from 180bhp to about 250 bhp? Only natural aspiration options...

What Chip said! Works out to 192bhp/litre....heck! Mind you still shy of a formula one car, but i'd imagine you don't want to spend 150k on your engine....

I knew someone would say that but my point is there MEGA highly tuned n/a engines basically the most highly strung bike engines produced and probably cost more than a decnt house

don't use the Hayabusa engine, it a dated motor now

250bhp can be optained from the kawasaki ZX14R Naturally Aspirated

http://www.holeshot-racing.co.uk/index.php?page=zx14

these are Rear Wheel BHP and just look at the price difference when you compare it too the Hayabusa motor

I had a blast in a tuned ZX12R Kit Car and it was unreal it was 200bhp+

I have seen it before but I don't know the full spec list... I know for sure that the crankshaft is ballanced, new connecting rods, new pistons with higher CR ,camshaft, head porting and custom mapping with ECU. Only thing that I know is that it was having 250bhp at 12000rpm...
I will take a look at the kawasaki engine but the engine internals and gearbox will last? It is a kit car project and from what I read the hayabusa engine is very popular due the torque that it has and reliability I guess...

I was shocked at what a race team I work for get out of a gsxr. Was bloody shocked. It's amazing what a huge budget can do.
