guys whats the best way to clean up gearbox etc before i put back in car

i used alibright (any alloy wheel cleaner will do ) with a brush and then the jet wash

i tryed that gunk stuff then jet washed but didnt do much

gunk is good for the oil and dirt but the alloy cleaner (the stronger the better) seems to bring it up best

Is that Starbrite products you use ??

Ive used alibrite and was good stuff
