Not promoting racing on the public roads etc, everytime i have a play its on a private runway

Mine would be in my missus Golf taking on a certain supercar,down three ringroads yes on the straights he tore me a new asshole (OBVIOUSLY!)!, but boy he couldnt take roundabouts, was buzzin for at least half an hour after overtaking him just before the roundabout being in and out of traffic and leaving him stuck behind a few other cars, even got a smile and a nod outta him when he caught me up a pelican crossing once leaving the ringroad....had a boot full of shopping aswell as was on the way back from farm foods lol!

Anyone else got any stories?

had good race with an m3 on the way to national day last year , he was infront at first until he got stuck behind a car so i dropped back a bit and waited until the car was just about to pull back into the first lane , then i booted it and got ryt up his arse and because of the speed i had picked up by dropping back he had to pull over and let me past , the look on his face as my escort flew past him was hilarious !!!

1st day i got my cossy and i had a do with a porsche up the bypass,he loved it that a sierra with 4lads in it nearly made him ave it,other time was when i had a tickle with my bro in his cossy.

a good race with an evo8 that lasted a while with no clear winner and a good long race from falkirk to bathgate with a motorbike with him pulling away at the start of the long straights for me to slowly reel him in at high speeds before taking him on the roundabouts then he'd overtake on the start of the next long straight ... etc etc thumbs up as he went his seperate way as he was obviously surprised at my old estate. to many others to mention.

Easy peasy. Porsche 911 C4S on the A414 between St Albans and london Colney. We both went for it and I sat with him. When we got to the long about he shouted to me with a big grin to go back again. So we did.

At the opposite roundabout he asked what I had and he looked gobsmacked when I said a 1600cc 8v . Nice guy that was able to just appreciate another quick car. He said he'd only had his 911 for a few days and his mates were never going to beleive he had an old Ford Escort snapping at his heals while he was at full chat.

We both went away happy

Oh.. and the M3 when i came out of work. He sat behind me at the lights pointing out my "Restricted to 248bhp, Please pass" sticker to his missus laughing. he then promptly tried to tank up my inside. Unfortunately I was rolling and in 2nd so dropped the hammer. You could see the look of horror on his face at being shown up infront of his missus by of all things an old Ford The look on her face at the next set of lights was one of "why is that old car quicker than you honey?"

had my mates 4x4 cosworth powered mk4 combie van an m3 after 20 mins of having it thought it was a rs turbo engined combi i was toying with him he must have floored it but then i blasted past him over 140mph should have seen the look on his face me and my mate were in stiches he was trying to show me up in front of his partner it didnt work out that way oh and it was done on private ground

another time was we just got a golf mk1 sleeper but it had a golf vr6 2.8 turbo under the bonnett34 hybrid my mate in a pulsar must have thought it was just a gti or mk1 he came blasting up beside us and harmered past us......then i dropped it down a gear and was sitting on his bumper he couldnt believe iti was siginaling for him to move over he did them i blowed him away like he was sitting still that wee golf is a fkn weaponthe g force is fkn awsomealso done on private ground

i was in my mx3 today, came off a roundabout onto the motorway with quite a lot of momentum and belted bast some tosser in a z4 coupe, he proceeded to cut across all of the triangle white lines coming on to the motorway and straight into the fast lane and floored it, i just stuck at 80, what a wanker

another time was toying with a little chav in a corsa in my nans 1.3 auto micra(flying machine lol) i overtook on a roundabout whilst drinking my brew, he didnt like that haha

we had a play with a f reg bmw 325 few months back left him at the lights but he went past us with him and his mate giving us the thumbs up top end! didnt know they were that fast! ironicly bumped into him on saturday at infinity exhausts, real nice chap, couldnt get over how quick our golf was......or the fact it was the missus driving! lol, but it was literally a track car just 2 bucket seats, he had even taken the sound deadening out.

The day I picked up my car from Power Engineering after being converted to turbo...

Was cruising along feeling over the moon with the way the car went, when a Porsche 911 started to slowly pass me. Me and my mate admired it, thinking it was nice, when the guy driving gave me a really dirty look as if to say "pah... you little chav", he then muttered something to his blonde bint (which I swear was something along the lines of "watch this") But guessing what he was about to do, I was ready and nailed it at the exact same time.
He kept looking across at us, back at the road, back at us... confused as to how we were still along side Slowly I started edging ahead, at which point he gave up, not wanting to lok bad infront of his bird I guess.
I slowed down and he came creeping past and wouldnt even glance at us, as if it never happend. Oh how we laughed!

Given I had just handed over a pile of cash for the conversion, I said to my mate, " if thats the only race I ever have, it was all worth it!"

The best one i had was ion my old work horse scooter coming home from work.

V reg Gilera Runner 125, L plate on view, overhalls on etc. This knob pulled up next to me in a TT at a set of lights, givin it Revs, laughin with his 2 mates.

Lights were just about to change when the window went down an the passenger shouted "smell the tyre smoke twat"

I proper fuckin rofl'd when the lights changed with me leavin them on the back wheel on my scooter

Also had a proper good run with a Punto GT while in my xr2, 2 mile twisties with me stuck on the bumper. When he wanted to turn off hand out the window with the thumbs up. Was a good run, brakes cooked.

Once played with a Caterham for about 20 miles of twistes and long straights a few yrs ago in the Cossie,he tried his best to shit on an old Ford but failed!

Had plenty more since but that was memorable because it was summer ect.

when i had my frst. i had a traffic lights race with 1 of those chrystler coupe things (the ones that look lyk a merc). pulled up behind him he lifted his automatic spoiler thing & set it away. he had me all day in 1st but 2nd & upwards i pissed on him. his face was hilarius. was doing well over a tone by the end of the slip road on the *private runway*. bearing in mind they are suposed to be pushing around 270bhp my frst with 200bhp was well on form

Probably the best one I've had was in a VW transporter, a C2 VTS with all the stick-on trimmings came alongside on the motorway. Since I had the 180bhp engine I though I'd play along as he tried to overtake...
Gradually speeding up to (very fast)mph he was looking pretty annoyed, then I decided I liked my license too much and backed off.


Best bit was 20 minutes later I passed him again, broken down on the hard shoulder!

About two years ago, had just got MOT'd the Sierra. Wasn't painted the car yet, was a real rat looker, different shades of blue and grey and silver all over the body painted with spray bottles, paint peeling of in many places, doors and arches in rust etc... Could say was a bit of a sleeper back then (now it's the opposite).

Was driving back home at night after being driving the whole evening / night with my friend, when a relatively new looking GT-Primera drove in side of me and was trying to get me to race. Didn't go for it first, he nailed the throttle then and went past me. I noticed it was empty road so I had second thoughts and then slowly increased my speed and catched him then and went for a quick run with him, the Nissan had no change against me when I changer to third and nailed the gas. After leading for a while I lifted the throttle and let the Nissan past, he and his mate was looking quite surprised and the passenger even gave me the middle finger.

Yes I know, GT-Primeras aren't fast or anything (nor is my car) but it still made me smile big time.

When I got home I smiled and gave gentle tap on the bonnet of my car.

Also one time was when I was cruising behind some E36 BMW, I clearly saw he started accelerating before the roundabout and seemed like he was trying to be a bit aggressive with his driving. Well he clearly had no clue what is aggressive so I braked late and went faster thru the roundabout, catched him and was almost in his rear bumper and then when exiting the roundabout went sideways easily (road was a bit damp), first left then right and I saw how the head with baseball cap was shaking and checking the mirrors, looking quite surprised lol.

i have been slated as to saying things being not true but i did DO a sti bug eyed impreza in my mk2 golf gti 8v tuned up wuth cam ported head etc,with quickshift gearbox,and uprated clutch/flywheel,exhaust.must have been knocking on 180-200bhp.managed 88mph flat out in 2nd up a hill by a speed checker with the red flashing lights.had the sti when rolling in 3rd in the golf at 30mph he rolled up next to me,gave me "the look" i dropped it in 2nd accelerated past him,he was at my back bumper for a 1/4 mile before we both had to back off because of traffic on the "private road".he couldnt get past me and when he came up to me at the next lights him and his trophy fit blonde missus just looked away.was a mighty day for my golf gti.
and did countless 3 series bms saxos civics etc.also did a fiesta st in my 1.8 dohc 16v 150bhp vw jetta,fucked him of by the time i changed in to 2nd gear,he just gave up lol

Ive had some fun. A year ago i had a rover coupe turbo,slightly tuned running approx 230-250bhp. The only car that beat me was an evo. In the rover i had scoobys,type r`s,mr2 turbos,celica gt4`s ,bmw`s. In fact i got so bored with nothing to race that i got rid and got my mk4 cab.Stuck a turbo engine in it and got oddkidd to tune. On the way back from essex running standard boost i managed to beat a clios williams. Since then,boost been upped to about 14psi,stage 3 head and a few other things (guessing about 180bhp),ive had a play with scooby and he was quite surprised he couldnt leave me! Not many other things ive played with as everytime i boot it another pipe pops off!!! The rover was definitely quicker but as the turbo cab is older and doesnt look so good (needs painting) it does surprise a few people!
