Whats the symptons of it being screwed?

What does it control?

it controls the fuel cycle/side of things if i remember right.
so the car running poor genearally or not at all i'd imagine!

Phase sensor could cause missfire. Especially on boost, mine would get to 4500 rpm on boost and miss like fuck. I changed phase and did plugs, leads, cap and arm all together while I was on and it cured it for me.

Had a look at thge plugs I took out yesterday deso irridiums ik24 and 1 is mssing the tiny electrode bit looks melted

Thats why it misfires then i used them for a while but then changed to the good old cheap ford 701's

Yeah a missing electrode aint gonna help things

Have you changed the plugs and its still missing?
What are they gapped to?

Change to IK31's, or *flame suit on* Champion C57 and C59s never given me a problem in 5 yrs

Lend me that flame suit mate...... I use NGK BCR8ES from Halfords at £4.75 a set. They gave me no problems on a T34 at 32 psi and I know they were good on a Sapph running 36psi too.

Says it all mate, you get people saying only use this certain plug etc but there you have it!

if any of the gaps are out it wont run right mate
spark plug gaps, phase sensor gap, crank sensor gap.
