What happened to Baby P really is a massive tragedy but I dont think that tabloid newspapers making money off the back of stirring up a massive public reaction to such a tragedy deserves a place in making law decisions, so for that reason im not signing up to their publicity stunt for their newspaper.

look how well theyve done so far in fucking up society,maybe if they did listen to the majority things wouldnt be so bad? i would love to see a vote on the return of the death penalty for cases such as this but we'll never see that happening as mp's know how it would go.
i believe the sentences are being reviewed anyway.

surely responding to public reaction and opinion is how things are meant to be done? after all the government are meant to be public servants making changes to suit how the majority want things to be instead of the usual 'we know best' attitude that the mp's usually go with?

I believe the press have fucked up this country just as much as any government has, and I dont think newspapers have any place at all to pay in the justice system.

I work in Health Care and took a special interest in the Baby P case (no I'm not one of the gutless social workers that stood back and passed the buck), and also wrote a thesis surrounding the whole case. Disgusting how this country allows scum like that to "care" for a child....
