whats the best way to answer them i have to explain a time when i have given excellent customer service what would be a good answer i hate these competency questions

what the question was, how you answered it. what you did to go further than just an answer (like showed them another product/found the product they wanted). and how happy they were that they bought 6 off you there and then (and offered to suck you off, but leave that bit out!)

Be specific, times, customer profile, product, outcomes etc. Above all don't lie, anyone that is half decent in that interview technique will pick you to bits.

think about any past experience where somebody has had some sort of problem where you helped sort it out. What did you do? What was the outcome compared to the initial problem? was your customer happy with it? did it benefit the company?

anything?
