Had all the what do you drive how old are you threads. Lets start with do you drive the fastest car in your close group of mates?

I'm 19 and drive a 1.8 145bhp focus. Other cars include a 1.2 Corsa, 1.4 Corsa, 1.4 Polo, 1.2 Punto, 1.4 Fiesta and another similar sized Polo. All have between about 65-75bhp and I run 145 so I run about double anyone else so I am cool apart from when I invite out one person with a 230bhp Cooper S.......GIT

Lets hear what your mates drive and whether you have the most powerful car...

Out of my close mates I've got the 2nd fastest (180BHP Golf GTI Anniversary). My mate beats me by 2BHP with his Clio 182 (which I honestly think is a fantastic handling wee car). I think the 3rd fastest car would be my friends 1.7 Astra Diesel - i guess they're not all that into thier cars in fairness.

Other mates beat me by miles though, two stage 3 cossies.

yes my close mates have a

2.0 zvh s2 200bhp
1.6 cvh s1 150bhp
2.0 fiesta st 170 bhp
civic type r 200bhp

So none of those cars worry mine lol but the guy with the s2 hates the fact that my car is faster - only cos his used to be!

Yes and no.
If my car ever see's the road i'm sure it'll be plenty quick, until then 55hp of 1.2 punto doesn't exactly put me at the top of the list.

If we're going on manufacturer figures, then only just. I've got a 330Ci (231Bhp), One friend has an ST220 (222Bhp), my girlfriend has a Cooper S (170Bhp) -the rest of them drive regular cooking model cars - One drives an 05 Astra diesel and the other has a 96 Escort Estate.

My car royaly ruins any of my close mates cars. No one drives anything remotely sporty really. My ERST has about 260-270 BHP. But my brothes got a 360 BHP STI, few lads I drink with once a month have a Focus ST, Civic type R, Escos, but I put up a good fight

Yep, but then I have just bought a 575 bhp car to top everyone I know

Plus it needs remapping / map finishing to get the rest of the BHP out of it, so unless any of my mates head for 625 bhp + I should be ok.

Its a no for me my mates have a tuned up twin turbo supra and a tvr tuscan so my stage one saph sort of gets beat

Apart from guys on forums I have NO mates into cars whatsoever. The fastes car any of my mates drive is an Alfa GTV 2.0 Twin Spark, next fastest is a close call between a 1.2 Punto and a 1.25 Fiesta.

So I have no competition, lol

I have the fastest and the slowest! got 350bhp cossie, my mates have an st200, 328 bmw, fiesta zetec s and a scimitar. My daily drive is the slowest though, just a 2 litre twincam sierra

out of my close mates, yes. When your up against a 1.6 Clio, 1.3 Swift etc... its not to hard. Though one does have a new corsa with the 1.7 Diesel engine and that seems to go well.

one of my mates has got a 911 turbo, one of them 997 things that does the thick end of 200 mph
same with with the cayanne turbo
and a few ducatti's

so i think he's the fastest

i only have a 1.6 focus and thats the fastest out of my mates most are banned and the others drive a 1.2 clio and a knackard old 316!

Yeah most of them have boring slow cars, the only quickish ones are a clio 182, mr2, and one of those megane F1 things, but i have no trouble flying past them

My mates and I all have cars that are similar in speed, I've got a stage 3 saff, they drive 300hp c20let mk3 astra, 260hp c20let nova and the other rather quick one is a Hartge H36 e30 m3. Can be quite fun sometimes lol

out of my mates theres a lot of quick cars my daily drive seat leon (180 hp chipped) will see of most of my mates in the hondas type r and vti but then i have a couple of mates with evos and a couple of mates with cossie both on light blues one with t38 and another with a t34 both rwd .might have more of a chance when my cossie fixed
