best of luck m8 - usually they drop down into the sump, best getting a bit of welding wire/filler rod and poking it down to make sure then drain the oil out
- if you're lucky, it'll come out in the oil

i speek from experience
when repalacing the collets on the valves, use some grease on them as this will "glue" them to the valve long enough to release the valve spring
