just a quick one. is harvey gibbs any good or not? i speak to people and some say hes not that good and others say hes the bollocks. just wanted to know what you lot think.

I think generally 99% of the people who say harvey is no good are people who know fuck all as is always the way 
I have been more than happy with SCS/Harvey so far with my 430+bhp engine build. I have a lot of confidence in his ability. I think you could do a lot worse than to take your car there

Harvey,Tim,Anne all very nice poeple, just got our 3dr back after a full engine rebuild now just running in, Harvey even sent photos of the different stages of the build,i would not take our car anywhere else.

Just to note I had my engine built by harvey in Summer 2002..
I had never heard of the bloke before i got strongly recommeded to go there for a rebuild (Mike R) Since then i have cover over 15k miles and the engine is still going strong Also as Kev said above the customer service is next to none..when mine blew up he would send me photo of mullered bits and how the new engine was taking shape! Was top stuff
There are others i would reccommend to have a mail/phone call with...

Its a matter of personal choice. Personally I think Harvey is very helpful and to the point. He will tell you exactly what he can do and how much it will cost. Not mess around and keep promising t give you a price. And watching him dyno your engine with Ahmed is worth the money alone! You can see your engine being thrashed for ages through a pain of glass. Wicked!

Im no Harvey lover, but only think of 1 person who was unhappy with him hugely.
A few hasnt been totaly happy with Ahmeds mapping, but Harvey isnt Ahmed

Been going to Harvey for 4 years now, and cant fault him. Had some issues with an engine which were dealt with VERY quickly
