Question Sapph 2wd Turbo...

Just a quick question, what model turbo comes on 2wd sapph's??

I'm buying an mfi rs turbo engine and it's had sapph turbo and new actuator fitted and gas flowed head with fast road cam.

Work was done by GS Escorts apparently so i'm assuming it's to a good standard. Just wondering which turbo it'll be?

well i'll be going to pick it all up either tomorra or sunday. whats best way to be sure? might help me if he's telling me it's got something better than it has.

whats the benefit of using cossie compressor wheel instead of normal rs turbo unit?

the fella reckons it to be running around 230bhp mark with above mentioned gas flowed head and fast road cam. -31 actuator too. i didnt think mfi was capable of much over 200?

thanks for the replies lads.

cossie has a different style of exhaust housing & a bigger compressor wheel, the exhaust housings can be swapped.

it will flow more air, a bit more lag but more power at the same boost.
