i've had one of these before, and absolutely loved it - honda s2000

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?s=327

considering one myself, but will probably not have much use for it this summer. maybe next.

I'd go for the S2000 too, I thought mine was great.

If it's a quick fling for the summer then the S2000 would be good, the thing with the boxster and Jag are they could possibly cost you a few quid if anything goes wrong?

The S2000 is usual Honda reliable!

Make sure the geometry is spot on though and tyres are good.

Well then it's maybe something you've gotta do!

No pint regretting not having one if you really want one.

Boxster or the M roadster... unrated car that. Yes its based on a GASH Z3... but its a proper hooligan mobile. Think of it as a German TVR

S2000 also good choice.

I always liked the Boxter.... till a guy who lives on a very rough and dodgy road near me bought one and keeps it out front on street.... doesnt seem very exotic and appealing anymore......

All excellent suggestions made above and below is what you could look for as already said above.

-Z3 M
-S2000
-E36 M3 Conv
-E46 325/328Ci but boring compared to the above
-TVR Chimaera (have NO idea what these are like btw but I think are in essence a convertible Cerbera so might be the most fun £9000 you've spent but equally the most stupid ). But drop top with a TVR V8 rumble sounds lush!
