i rate them mate, a very good injector,
siemens are rated in lbs and not CC's

an astra i have been working on was running 750cc RC injectors with a std fuel reg,
these have been changed to siemens 44lbs injectors which are said to be rated around 500cc @ 1bar press

but siemens arnt suseptable to drips when the fuel pressure is cranked up, so u can run ridicuals fuel pressure,

anyway with the std reg in place, these 44lbs ones ran the car richer than the RC750's

what ever u decide to do mate, jus get it checked with a wideband,

Thanks very much for your reply but very technical for me!!!
I have a standard 2wd engine, and these injectors look new and he said they're good for turbo application.
They have a different pintle end,but would replace my yellows without and fuel rail mods. Was looking at 270 ish brake and fancied newer injectors (for nowt!)
Would they work ok or am I just thick cos i'm new to this stuff!!!

you cant just put siemens injectors in, turn up the boost without the correct chip to run them! its not as simple as that i'm afriad

siemens come in 3 stages

55lbs, 72lbs or 83lbs

on the side of the injector it will have a 4 digit number:
55lbs will be 3102
72lbs will be 3145
83lbs will be 3105

you will need to know the rating so you can get the right chip

they must be low impedance too, 2.8ohms

Sorry,not been very clear.
I do know the car would need a chip and poss an actuator to up the horsepower.
All I was thinking is that these injectors are newer and my yellows look crusty.I've read somewhere on here about the poundage not being too much of a problem as long as the expected power does not exceed the flow rate.
I've called my mate and he says they were off a newish Volvo T5 engine.I know this is as clear as mud.
on the side it says
siemens deka
other side 9179379
opposite the plug 216p
and 66 up the stem of the plug.
Sod it.Anyone want them for postage only?My brain hurts!!!!!I am but a lowly Paramedic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
