Millington have done an alloy block for years

IIRC thats what Martoons original Escort had?

the millington one was much better than the cosworth one it ran a nice big cradle in the bottom of it that held everything in place

I looked in to it and spoke to the top guys at Cosworth over it but decided agaist it as it was a bit of a risk unless a customer decided to fund the development and time to do it,
Just about all of the parts I would have made for it would have been redundant if the block proved not up to the job.

Thats the trouble with something new that costs that much, really cosworth should test it to its limits for power and in doing so create more interest/sales if people knew the figures
