Default t34 57 exhaust housing

is the 57 rare..... i hear about 48,55,63....came with works wrc escort ford run....was told it was a developement turbo.....thanks

well i was told there was only 4 ever made....he used it for two stages so is like new.......has 2 stamped on the shaft but has been balanced where 4 and 7 would be ..........roller bearing,fully lockwired,cut back blades and msa tagged 34 mm restrictor.........thanks lads

you might belive the bloke was pulling my leg, but i saw the car and all the parts he owed a main dealers.....
wish i had more money back then........

well its going on my engine..... just got to find time to put my car back together........hope to be out on the road again soon, should turn some heads and scarey as fook ..........

i presume that is saying that shaft is Mar-M247, not that the exhaust housing is a .47

exhaust housing 57 mate.......
shaft has been fully balanced machined to do this only has 2 on it and machined wher 47 would be was told it was for aggresive anti lag!!!!

im almost sure it is, i used to run a hybrid on my rally car, was the ST escort rear and core with the Nissan sunny GTiR comp housing and wheel (same size as the escort T34) was an awsome turbo, just kept shitting itself at 2 bar, the thrust bearing was just too small for that much boost.

air resesrch is/was a subsiduary of garret, and the bearings, well you can have what you like now in a core, but the WR cars did use an all steel bearing housing well before anyone else, though this was in the IHI unit

just had a look at a t28 hybrid and it looks like .57 is cast in it.
