Default Turbo'ing a Fiesta ST....

Hello everyone.

Just wondering where you can buy the kit to turbo the Fiesta ST and how much? Also what else do you need? What else is involved etc? Can it be done on a standard engine? Just change the cams?

Only its just i have the chance to buy a mint low mileage Fiesta ST, but the standard performance sounds quite poo tbh! So just looking at what my options would be.

Thanks for any info.

Yeah mon. Its just an idea at the mo as i wanted a new car at the end of the year. But was looking at good old VAG again. But this car is my sisters boyfriends' car and i know its mint and a proper genuine car and it would be cheaper too.

How you enjoying your new car mate?

Just remembered i havn't seen pics of it! Is it a B5.5? I don't know my Passats too well!

Dont know if there is a kit as such, but an easy option would be to fit a focus RS engine? or if you want to turbo the ST engine, you'll need the obvious things like low comp pistons, turbo, manifold, cooler, management system, exhaust etc etc...it wont be cheap!

Alan off here bought a kit though didnt he? I have tried to PM him but no reply yet.

His car made 250bhp and 250lb/ft and I am lead to beleive that is on a standard engine with just cams. Sounds nice for a standard engine if it is!

Hopefully he will reply!

Yeahh that looks mega mate, all it would need is a bit of a drop and would look perfect. As for the power, you can't beat the 130's. I drove a 115 Golf the other month and felt so flat compared to my car!

My mate has a A4 with that 2.5tdi engine in, it's done over 200k and is MINT!!

What puppy you getting? I love dogs.

deffo 130s are the best as it really does feel slow

Think its gonna be a spanial (had one as a kid) I would love a boxxer but the missus says no to mega slobbers and drool .....taken me like 3 years to get my way with getting a dog so beggers cant be choosers

sounds good Dave.

maybe worth having a test drive of the car first,it may surprise you and it will be a lot cheaper to insure than a turbo'd modded one.

With all the Torque his diesel has, it'll feel like driving a moped in comparison.

I have driven it. but tbh it just felt a bit flat. Quite nice cause it was smooth, but coming from my dirty diesel which has got over 300lb/ft torque, it just didn't have that surge that I like.

I am just a boost junky sadly.

Allan has just PM'd me back, so getting info off him now.

Yeah, I hated that with the TDCi we had. First and second were none existant. Still, once you get going nothing is gonna' catch you. (So to speak). If I was you, I'd fit a Focus ST engine if it fits.
