3K to go on holiday where to tho
Right, want another holiday but its got to be cheapish (3k between 4 of us) in Europe and in a villa with a pool. Want to be near the beach and some restaurants/bars but not too loud/busy. Will hire a car so want a place with stuff to see/do. Any recommendations, anyone??

I have got Australia booked for this year. all in it will cost Ł2310 for 2 adults and 2 kids, Ł270 flying BMI from Glasgow to Heathrow.
Ł2039 for Malaysian Airlines to Sydney on 20th October and return home 17th November.
luckily I have relatives that I can stay with and get discount on car hire while there.
For 3k you should be able to get somewhere half decent.

Thinking of going back to majorca as we went there 2 weeks a for a few days and it was very nice a bit ŁŁŁ buy hey
or marbella again(went in sept 2007) stayed just up the road from puerto banus and loved it
would love to do a bit of quad biking and shooting if I can this time

My choice would be Cyprus, ayia napa, protaras etc, my favorite island in europe for a quality holiday, ( 4 weeks time ill be there

I'd go long haul without doubt. Highly recommend this place. Not a villa, but all in and an excellent standard. You should be able to get in within budget. Cheap as chips and beautiful http://www.donasylvia.com/index1.html (Southern Goa, India)

Cheers but i cant be doing with long haul, 4 hours is about my limit for flyingwent to the USA in october and that was 11 hours and did my head in being uncomfortable spent most of the time walking about the plane
