Paul hills mapped my cossie, and has done 3000 miles since, and it absofookinlutly flies, he will certainly be mapping my next engine, he talked me through the whole process of why he was doin what he was doin , asked me what i wanted to do with the car, it went a lot better aftyer he had worked on it and i have a lot of friends that have used him and never had a problem.

OK! Back to the point of the post with no silly arguing, just fact, like before...

Ians engine failed how? Rod snapped.
Effes engine failed how? Rod snapped.

Ians engine had mad h-section conrods that can stand mad amounts of abuse.
Effes engine has std shotpeened rods which can stand 600bhp without too much problem normally.

Ians map has been inspected by various Pro's and was found to be unsuitable and would det its tits off with his spec.
Effes has been checked too? Possibly, maybe, hmm...

What kills rods?

Boost? Nah.
Power? No.
Revs? Maybe, but neither engine failed at high revs.

DET kills rods (AND blows headgaskets)

I feel sorry for ian as no-one should have to go through what he went through and i hope ian fights paul for money back

ive noticed a lot of people are saying thats its between paul and ian, well yes it is BUT shouldnt people know the truth , i mean by all rights paul should not have a buisness and he has no right in taking money of anyone as he clearly dont know what he is doing , thats not just from this thread either , heard a lot of bad elsewhere!!

Plus this bullshit thread is about Ian & Paul only. Efe's car did shit itself, but that was proven to be nothing to do with Paul. Paul did rebuild it and since making an impressive 580bhp with out missing a beat. It is running now with the same map, and wastegate etc that it had the day it blew up. Infact am I right in thinking even the mighty god MARTIN HADLAND was impressed with Efe's engine after Paul had rebuilt it.
Efe is extremely pissed off with having his car / engine slated on here, and I guess the mood of the thread has now gone to that of complete boredom.

Well I have to say that I think this thread has now run it's course and is running past it's sell by date.

If no one has any objections, I will be asking that it'd be locked.

I suggest that me and Paul put this whole episode behind us and make a fresh start - I for one fucking need it.

Also, the reasoning behind my request for this thread to belocked is that Paul has now been in touch (though indirectly) and has offered some form of help. Im not prepared to say what that help is, but although it is nowhere near what I will have to pay out it is better than nothing and for it I am very grateful.

Hopefully this can be a learning experience for all of us.

yes i quite agree with that ian, its obvious paul is not going to offer a defence after 5 or 6 days. i believe everything that needed to be said has been.
