Chip is just uploading some pics now. I'm writing this from my phone. We've all done a couple of laps.
Followed a biker who low sided in front of us. He was ok, but we stopped to help and wave the following traffic to slow down.
Glad I had my high vis vest handy.
We then carried on, 5 mins later another bike on the deck, covered in loads of mud and mess.
Damp track is lethal!

Off for dinner now at the restaurant by the castle now.
Party of 13 of us now, plus a 2 week old baby.
We have been joined by a Fiesta RST and an Escort cabby in our group
Not seen him yet, but apparently Rick is over here now so will be good to see him.
Weather tomorrow should be drier, and I think I have now sussed out the Performance Timing box ready for data logging some of my laps.
Talk to you tomorrow,
Simon

p.s even if it didn't display what you wanted at the time it will have still recorded and I/you can get laptimes from that data.

Lee,
I did get that file and did change it on the card ok.
Got vbox started after leaving that message for you, by doing a Cold Start.
It found the missing satelites and now appears to work fine.
Do I need to do your sig instructions? Or by changing that file is it covered?

Not yet no, although they were on the same ferry as Rick earlier Fri morn so would guess they are here somewhere. Will look out for them tomorrow up at the circuit.
Done all that back in the Uk so we're deffo hot to trot then
Cheers Lee, will look forward to seeing the results. I'll try swapping it to a few cars to compare what we get up to. I'll keep notes of who did what lap.
Thanks Mike
I have just bought this car it's 3rd set of wheels (needs 18s to clear the APs) - another set of BBS CHs in sensible 18 inch flavour, shod in Dunlops D01Js 2 sets of them now
If it dries out properly as tomorrow wears on I'll be sticking my 265 wide Dunlop D02Gs on my other set of Rotas onto the car, which combined with the extra power should see some good speeds.
Bed now, it's 12.30 here
if you put that file i sent you on the sdcard in the "data" folder the pc should of said that file already exists! replace? yes you should replace/overwrite with the new file. then insert the sdcard into the vbox. in laptiming mode press menu "load splits" ok.
you then transfer the that file to the vbox. (it also leaves the file on sdcard too)

We are bit gutted about YUM, she is on her way home and we get a hire car today for the rest of the trip so we are not going to let it ruin our trip.
Loving the place where we are staying
Enjoyed my first experience of the ring out with Nigel & Si yesterday
Woke up to no rain and sunshine this morning too

That was a scary moment with the biker flying on his arse towards the barrier

Yep I did. Owner lived there, so bound to have been ragged around down there.
We're all off to the Ring right now. Just getting fuel then will be on there, prob about 30 mins max till we hit the track.
Cheers Lee for yesterday's excellent screen grab of all of us going on the Ring.
Cheers

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Thought so, bloke lived just down the road from me, and a few doors up from my mate (No doubt you saw a shocking red corsa a few doors up).
Never really saw it driven in anger mate. Seems really well looked after
