Not much of an update tonight, as it's past my bed time!
Mixed day today - weather was spot on, dry and sunny all day
We all got a good few laps in and everyone got passenger rides with each other. All cars ruuning fine and well.
Loads of accidents and breakdowns on the Ring meant lots of track closures so getting on the track proved tricky.
In the down time we went to the offroad centre and booked 8 Jeeps for Monday morning offroading around a giant quarry
Always great fun 
We went to the Chinese tonight, great food.
Tomorrow we aim to be at the Ring 8am sharp, for opening time, to get a couple clear laps in before the chaos starts.
Should be on the web cam 7am UK time.
My car is flying which is great, overtaking stuff and running in the sub 8.30 minute laps even with traffic. Sadly having trouble with satellite reception so GPS timing not going to plan
Will try and take a passenger capable of filming my lap tomorrow so you can see what it's like.
Safe to say in my 6 or so laps, not been overtaken or even hassled yet

Did YUM have any high speed fun before it let go? How did it go compared to your Evo Si?

Will try a more blatent roof mouting on one of the other cars. It will only get signal sat still in the car park. It deffo works when still, but move off, and it loses sat reception.
Really want to get some results out of it!
No idea on cause, could be one of a few things, will be sorted when back in the Uk.
We're just leaving hotel now as it's raining
Early start wasted.Should be on the Ring in 10 mins or so.
Looks quiet up there, going to be so greasy on track. Might try filming a lap following the RWD Focus round, that could be entertaining

The Focus has had a minor kiss coming up the hill from showboat, nothing too bad though which is good.

Im sure when you mod an engine to this extent' you get NO guarantees' all tho im sure Mark will sort it for him
ps Glad you aint letting this put a downer on your trip Dave and just let me know if you need a hand again, But im sure we wont need to take the engine out,

Track was bone dry all the way up to that point, Ian was going really well, he took 6:30 to clear the carousel when I glanced at my stopwatch, then as we came round brunchen 2, there was a damp patch just on the exit of the bend, it was in the shade and wasnt obvious, so when Ian just got on the power normally the back came round massively, Ian turned in and caught it but it had so much momentum it swung back the other way, he caught it again (still with his foot in hard trying to keep control) and it snapped again, by which time we were halfway down the straight when it finally span, he didnt really stand a chance to be fair and its just fucking lucky it went in back first and didnt do much damage, at one point it looked like the front was going in.
After I got raped so badly on my accident a few years ago for leaving the scene I made sure Ian stayed put even though the car was driveable and he wanted to get going again, the marshalls were there in under 10 mins, they were very fair with us, they even thanked us for staying with it, I had a quick negotiate with them about how much he had actually damaged or not and they agreed that all he had to do was just replace 2 of the 3 planks of barrier that he had hit as one of them was just paint marked but not bent, he was lucky to be honest as in reality he had pushed a few of the supports back as well.
Total bill was 635 Euros which he settled there and then without involving insurance etc.
No real harm done, we both got a bit of whiplash (anyone got roosie's number so I can claim for it?
) and the damage to the car is minimal, Ive text Diva a picture as Ive not got a lead to connect my phone to Dave mac thingy im borrowing to type this so cant upload it.

Mines on dark Comps and smothered in carbon as you would probaby guess.

Track looks to be drying, my brother has done some more damp laps.
Track closed again loads today
Tomorrow we go offroading at 10am then track opens 1pm (12 uk time) for 7 hours. Fingers crossed more laps for all of us, as place should be quieter and weather supposed to be ok ish.
I'm off to the Ring now for a lap I think, give me 15 mins to get there.
