the diff is not what controls how much % of drive each diff gets, its the unit in the back of the gearbox that controls how much the front and rear diffs get
eg. 50/50 %split
25/65 %split
is this what you mean ?
as Jimbo said you would also need to change the gearing in the transfer box if you did not want more power going to the front diff in the layout I mention, but 50/50 splits are available for the MT75.
I doubt a normal 4x4 front diff would be suitable to power the rear wheels but it would be straight forward to use a bigger diff as you would not have the normal restriction of the RHD rack being in the way, or you could put it to the rear of the engine rather than though the sump if you did use this configeration
the centre diff put a 1/3 2/3 split due to one bit rotating twice as fast as the other which is then reduced again to ge tthe right ratio to get the props front and rear
easy enough to just weld it up to be a solid bit of kit to give you no slip if it's a case of just powering it up
i know the diffs doesnt control how much power goes were but dint know you could get 50/50 splits for the mt75?
good point about positioning the front (now the rear diff) in front of the sump instead of though the sump!
id be tempted 2 use 2 jag diffs like that that rod runs, loads of different ratios avabiale, cheep (just weigh a bit more)
only weak point would be the gbox?
they built a rear engined race car, using a cossie motor and 4x4 running gear in reverse, hell they even still have the car, so just buy it off them lol
Chip, do you know the reasons behind the honda engine running the other way round?
So that the torque reaction tips the engine the other way, to aid with traction is the usually accepted story you see thrown about, dont know if its true or not though.

they do say that, and on race bikes too (not just honda)
do you want to instal the cosworth 4x4 drivetrain as it is but as per the 6r4 below
I looked into doing this with my RS200 rep. Had it all worked out too, but the killer for the project was the fact that to get two narrow bucket seats in the car meant the engine + box needed to be offset to keep the transmission tunnel in the centre of the chassis. That also meant taht the driving position was too offset for the pedals + steering wheel. Either that or have the g/box in the centre of the car and the Transfer box intruding into the passenger side and have no passenger seat!
