I don't agree with chip i'm afraid guys I work with drug companies every day And I have to say that the doctors and the safety officers and the scientists that design these drugs, know them inside out!!
They know the make up the ingredients and the toxicities or rather side effects caused by them! They have to know these things for them to pass 3 phases of clinical trial! The first the critical safety stage which is where small numbers of people are given the drug to establish the toxicities and he adverse event as well as the dosages, and to analyse how the drug is performing in human subjects!
Then second phase with between 50 and 300 patients is where they Are looking at this in slightly more depth and to see how the drug works efficacy etc
Then the 3 usually with about 600 to 3000 patients, is when it becomes multi national try that is randomized to establish whether the drug can be marketed!
Without all of those phases a drug cannot be licenced in this country, the US or any other country governed by an ethical society!
So chip although I have agreed with most of what your saying, this comment I very much doubt! People may think it but it's actually a phalacy! They have to know how they work in order to create the drug initially!
O and Ross, your welcome Hun!
just glad I didn't come across to badly!

Depends what the drug is initially designed for!
If they are using drugs that exist already for different type of treatment then it is a possibility that they don't know what they drug or how it works exactly!

when i lived in holland at my heaviest coke use time my flatmate was a smack user, from the minute he got out of bed for work at half four am until he went to bed that night he'd be chasing it on the foil.all day every day no exceptions. to meet him and speak to him youd be none the wiser as he'd function normally all day and was decently educated and articulate. even though we were both on the slippery road down we were still functioning as normal, learning the foreign language and getting by nicely.
i decided to come back to the uk to get away from the drugs as they were to easy to come by over there.
ive not seen him for a couple of years now so ive no idea how he's doing. to get out the scene you need to get away from all those in it that you assossiated with or you will carry on as you were.
in my case id never consider myself as a junky but a habitual user as i never touched anything during the week but come friday until monday id go hard at it and snort up to Ł500 worth every weekend and never less than Ł240 for a good 4 years plus.
the heavy guilt trip on seeing my baby daughter lovingly looking upto me made me realise i was a waster and i sorted myself out.
i hate myself for what i did thats why i have no sympathy for others.
