pretty easily tbh, cos i look at it now and just think it looks tacky as you like

but you know what, as long as you personally look back and think it looks awesome, it doesnt matter an ounce what anybody else thinks, its YOUR wedding at the end of the day.

I can see both sides of the argument here, on one hand it can look a little bit tacky, on the other hand, look at Martin Hadlands wedding pics with the 3 x rs500's... For a proper petrol head it looks ace, assuming your better halfs into cars as much as well?

At the end of the day Rich, its your choice, we only have one wedding photo up on the wall, the ones with the cars in are in the album, never see the light of day anyway.

We had a white rolls royce and some shonky old thing with solid spoked wooden wheels.

Make it something special which you will always want to remember. I had a Vanquish for 3 weeks and loved it. Looks great in wedding pics aswell. This was the wedding morning after racking up about 200 miles the night before More fun than getting pissed.

Now this will set me off...

Wife got us some ford based kit car thing that looks vaguely like that long one above but much shorter. I left wedding plans to her and it was only after she organised it and we'd been to a friends wedding where they hired a AMV8 that she said i should've got a rari for the day

Anyways on to the wedding car. After a wonderful wedding we clamber in for all the photos blah blah and then set off to our reception. Old guy driving was chatting about the car and i didnt know what it was so he proceeds to tell me it's based on a sierra floor pan hence giving it a c plate(i think) and then tells me its a cosworth engine. I said oh the granada cossie engine and he said no the turbo one. I obviously pointed out that it certainly wasn't a YB and he started arguing with me i pointed out that for my sins i actually owned one and he was having none of it wife made me drop it

WTF! I cant think of many worse cars to take the bridesmaids to a wedding in. Not exactly much leg room in the back, climbing in behind the recaros etc etc

So chances are the ones with the cars will just end up in an album that YOU look back at once in a while with less frequency over the years.

Jamesdna looks like he was on a total winner anyway, he could have driven off in a nissan micra and he still won lol . On a totally random note James, I was at a mates house the other night and looked through an old fast car when they used to go round the cruises, a lovely lady, who looked very much like your wife was at one of the cruises, somewhere down south that I forget, was that her?

Cheers everyone

RW
