Default what cars did you have for your wedding day?

We are still quite along way off, but I am looking for ideas of what we may want, as the missus doesnt some to keen about Cosworths,

What cars have you guys used and do you have any pics? Even Cossies to try and sway it

I just think that when you look back at wedding photo's in 40 years time, and cosworths are no longer something you are into, it will ruin your wedding photo's

I actually agree completely.

Don't want to shit on people's special day and all that, but personally I just think it looks nasty. Noisy boy racer car for a wedding?

Rolls Royce every time for me - would never want to see my missus waved off in a 1980s Ford Sierra!

No filler in this

It spent its early life in the middle east and was made for one of the wealthiest families of the time as you can tell from the history, interestingly for a roller the spirit of ecstasy is kneeling, this is because the usual pose wasnt appropriate in the middle east. Car is more than immaculate

I want a White Mk1 Sierra 5 Door but my Fiancee aint having none of it, she wants a Black or Silver Rolls Royce!

The only instructions I have regarding the whole day are -

1, Turn up on time.
2, Fully Clothed
3, Sober.

I think I can manage that

in 40 years time, will any car seem relevant though?

At least with a cosworth, we will both have our own memories of owning one

Well the likes of a Rolls Royce are never going to look out of place, whereas as Cosworth just looks a bit " pants " imo.

But each to their own

Cosworths probably wont be something your into maybe yer, but its the memory of what you were into at the time.. Its like looking back at yourself 10 years ago and saying shite I looked bad,,,but at the time U probably felt u were a beaut.

Acht - its just a car that gets u to the wedding, hardly exactly the most important detail. All that matters is that you enjoyed the day and look back with fond memories. My folks are still together and they only have a couple of wedding photos that actually sit out for people to see. So chances are the ones with the cars will just end up in an album that YOU look back at once in a while with less frequency over the years.

Jamesdna looks like he was on a total winner anyway, he could have driven off in a nissan micra and he still won lol . On a totally random note James, I was at a mates house the other night and looked through an old fast car when they used to go round the cruises, a lovely lady, who looked very much like your wife was at one of the cruises, somewhere down south that I forget, was that her?

Cheers everyone

RW
