Default Claiming back listing fee's on ebay, how?

sold my car on ebay last week, bloke was a total time waster so going to put it back on, but how do i get my listings fees back?

when i hit relist it says at the top "This relisted item does not currently qualify for an Insertion Fee Credit"

why not?

i've not sold anything on ebay before so am a bit new to this!

It's a £100 car and i don't wanna spend £30 in fees twice! i'd be better off scraping it!

You have to file a case. So, report it as Item not paid. You cannot do this until 7 days have passed from the end date. Then you have to wait a certain amount of time, upon which you will be credited the final value fee and offered the chance to relist it for free.

As above, and the 'buyer' will also get an unpaid item strike.

if the 'buyer' was the only bidder then i guess you wouldnt get your insertion fee back. you wouldnt get it back if if no-one had bidded on it (you can file to get your final sellers fees back though). if there was other bidders you could do a second chance offer to one of them & get a sale. if you advertise your car in the auto trader you dont get your money back if no-one buys you car or messes you about. sorry but thats the way it is. hope that makes sence
