NOOOOOO NOT FOR ME - AOL SUCKS CHEESE



any way of connecting more than one pc to use the broadband at the same time?

i dont think there is, wondered if there was any way round it?

you need a wireless router and a wireless 'card' for your other puter!! I got a kit from Pc world for 100 quid = router, pcmiaa wireless card for a laptop and one for a desktop..... works a treat!!

YES, if your connection is ADSL, buy an all in one ADSL modem, router and firewall
Connection to the router can be then either ethernet or wireless or USB depending
on the type of router used.

My Netgear router ( www.netgear.com ) (MODEL DG834)
has 4 ports and so I can have 4 computers on the net all at the same time. !!!
(If I had 4 computers )

Cost me Ł70 all in

I have 2 PC's, a DAW and a laptop connected on a wireless home network to AOL broadband and it works a treat.

i know about networking and stuff - do it for a living

apparently they have now upgraded to AOL "gold" and that allows more than one pc
