If someone got one of these slapped on them is it for a very good reason(with evidence) or is it something that can be abused? i.e making up some random shit to get someone into trouble?.

P.s i know what it means im just asking under what circumstances would one be issued

 

The Ex got an injunction on me when she cheated on me, made out i was violent, so i wasn't allowed within 300 yards of her house, soon got lifted tho when i took her to court and she had no evidence i was violent nothing happened to her either

 

Ahh right so basically they can be given to someone whos completely innocent, wonderful

Id have thought they would need at least some evidence before handing one out

For anyone whos bothered/interested i asked because theres a chap at work who we all thought was a nice enough guy, but recently word got out that he was having problems with his misses of 5 yrs, anyway to cut a long story short he has now got an injunction on him.

Just wondered if he was a bad boy or a chance that his misses is a bitch i reckon its the latter though. Shes trying to take their kids away from him aswell(10-13)

I'm going back 6yrs when i had my injunction so things may have changed, but same thing Ex tried to get me out my sons life and start a family with her new fella

Im no expert on law but i think his kids are old enough to have their own say as to who they want to live with, i mean i was there when he said sarcastically to his kids "im a bad person arent i?" and they both stood their shaking their heads.

I know i havent got the whole story but im hoping for his sake and his kids that hes not in the wrong

 

An injunction is basically a legal order stopping someone from doing something / going somewhere etc while they try and work out what to do
