Default superchip problems

hello i have got a 55 plate mondeo st tdci which was standard running 158.6bhp i had a superchip bluefin fitted which made no differents so had to have it remapped again which has been done twice and had it put back on the rolling road again to prove its not working as still only making 162.2bhp the agent who fitted it doesnt want anything to do with it anymore so phoned up superchips direct and they want me to take my car there on 7th may so they can find out why there software wont work on my car has anyone else had a problem with them and should i let them as been told they will bullshit the figures

if the remap works properly you will notice the difference.

it could only happen to me just dont know what to do as superchips wont give me my money back till they have seen the car and dont really want them to do anymore to it so i will either lose the money and have to pay to get it done by someone else

just a thought, the car hadnt been re-mapped before you had it re-mapped was it?

If it was then you will see next to nothing more, but i would of expected your mapper to have seen that it had been done before and told you so,unless he was not telling you the whole truth that is?!

Let them try to fix it, if they can't they they also can't reasonably withhold a refund.

Don't they offer a 7 day refund? Are you still within that? I take it that you are going to their HQ to get it on their rolling road. If so take the bluefin off, get them to RR it off then on. They do have the ability to tweak the map but as said above there should be quite a noticeable difference.

yeah they want me to take it to there hq i know there wasnt a problem with the car before it was chipped as had it put on rolling road a month before i had it fitted and made 158.5 then had it remapped and made 158.6 so they made up enough file up for it now running 162.2 but im fed up with spend 55 quid each time having it put on the rollers just to prove it hasnt made the differents,if i send it down to them they will only end up giving me a false reading when they rolling road it

Superchip are actually helpful and is willing to do anything to have a happy customer of theirs.

It's worth making the trip so they can figure out what's wrong. Make sure you remove the map and reset the ECU (remove battery lead) for 30 minutes before you make the drive there.

Then leave the work to them.

well spoke to superchips again today they still want me to take the car into them on the 7th may so they can remap it on the dyno and it will be custom mapped to my car so looks like i will have to take a drive down there to get it sorted out

we had one that the wee vacum acumulator box on the front of the gear box was cracked so there was no vacum and it needs vacum to close the waste gate,, but prob wouldn't even make standard power

just a little up date car has been to superchip hq today thet done a rolling road on it like it is and made 182 on there rolling road but in back to standard tryed it again made 164 so they have made enough map for it and now making 189 but only gor 16nm torque over standard still not happy with it as still dont seem much different and think there figures are bullshit as mine made 158.5 standard and 162.2 once chipped on enough rolling road so dont really know what i can do now
