my escos converted to RWD
finished today, took it out for a few gentle miles to test it....brought it back to give it a check over....took it up the road 500 yards put the foot down in second....stripped the fooking pinion on the diff at 1.5 bar of boost
feckin wish i hadnt sold my 9" diff
but apart from that im very pleased with it...had another diff to stick in it...but think buying another 9" is whats needed.
heres a few pics if anyones interested

cheers for all your comments guys
Beefy, it runs a high vol low pressure lift pump to feed this swirl pot in the boot
that then feeds the 2 044 pumps pictured above, its 500+bhp 8inj T4 so it likes lots of fuel on tap
paul, underside was powerwashed to fook to get all the old waxoil off it then cleaned with thinners...scotchbrited with thinners then sprayed with 2pack
RWD drives mint, its the first one i,v driven, much better than a sierra IMO prob because of slightly shorter wheelbase and stiffer shell
i dont care what it does to the value of it....you dont need to chop anything on the shell so when i break the car up its still a proper escos shell
neil...i,ll try not to break this diff...no promises though
davie...yep i like the satin black glad i got them powder coated
no ones noticed the gearbox yet
