Theft....
I would expect that theft is on the increase in the job that i do, (Store manager for Somerfield) and that wrongly you can make the wrong assumptions about people ie areas.
In some of the stores i have worked at the areas have been well less appealing and that you automtaically assume people of that area or nature are "at it"
Well, lomg story tbh, but i have just taken a store on in a affluent area and in the 3 weeks i have been there i have sacked 3 staff for theft
Due to me having to hand in the disclipinary letters to their houses, i was shocked when i went to one of the houses that it was a big fook off 8 bedroom detatched house with a 1 yr old top of the range, range rover
20ft high hedges around the house and a driveway big enough for like 10 cars
The guy and his missus worked at the store. I nailed em both on theft, as he bought a £5 scratchcard, pop, and sandwiches yet, when she served him, she gave him £6 change back, as i can see on cctv. The guy was gutted when he was sacked (tough) and his parents have kicked him out of the house and took the keys off him for his one year old peugeot- he was 19.
In this tough credit crunch age i would expect it from you know. dodgy areas etc, and i just dont get why he and his missus did it.Where his missus lived, was a big 4 bedroom detatched house and her dad is a national account manager dealing with money...........lol...........

You should work in my area of work, the docks! If it aint screw down, it will get nicked, its great lol!! In fact sometimes in can be screwed down, locked, welded, sitting under cctv and it will still get nicked!!
Doesnt mean you have to "fast rob"

Nah no excuse for it, if you cant afford to pay for it in £ notes, you dont have it.
Makes all those times you CAN afford it worthwhile, whether its a nice meal out or a new shiny Focus RS.
Same thing, different scales.
