Default Is a uprated clutch cover needed??

in general terms is a uprated cover needed for a paddle plate??

Looking to fit a plate but if dont have to fit a cover but reuse std will but dont want to find slips and have to redo.....

Not on a cos btw, what does the cover actually do.....

The 'Cover' as it is called, is actually an integral part of the kit. Let's call it by its proper name, Pressure Plate. It's just as important as the Friction Plate if you ask me and to use a Pressure Plate that isn't the one that was designed to work with the Friction Plate is just nonsense if you ask me.

There are people who do it though.
