Just talking to the "wife" about Cosworths and so on, we got on to the subject of Martins, YUM and Rods and she said "I dont see the point" so i ask why and she came back with this pearler.....


"why dont they put these engines in to decent cars....like a pug 206 or something"....

Jesus lads i thought you might be on the same side atleast....lol I will tell her she is right and we all have wasted our time on these shitty fords.... Oh yeah i got rid of my last one fucking years ago and have had bikes and Bemmers ever since...hahaha maybe she has a point...

I wonder what Rods missus's take on it is then....all the other husbands are enjoying a nice game of dominos or doing abit of gardening and Rods arsing around with an old Sierra

I went a track day at donnington and saw it a few years ago, suppose it might not have been the same one tho, can't be too many of them about !!!

i think i fucked up here by letting my ex finish me,never breathed a word bout car or what i spent on it and even came round tonight to take me get some more parts for it! and came round a couple of weeks ago saying she likes it and ill have to take her out in it again soon.

Funny thing is she cant even see past the body, looks is what it is all about for her...A car could drive like a bus aslong as it looks flash she would be happy. Sad eh!!

A friend of the gfs wanted to fit escos rims to her 1.4 206 for some random reason (prob would look good with a wide arch kit on) then said she bought a set on ebay and when the gf went to look they were actually RS500 alloys

Taking into account they wont fit a pug hub without spacers plus would look shit on a 206 anyways it looks like we might be having them very soon

Actually i have a deal with the missus for each conversion.

My 650bhp conversion cost me 13k on a new pond & landscaping, this latest one, 14 of the latest double glazed windows. My missus is the only women to ask what im planning to do next .
