they are really controlable when the arse end is out. they are amazing fun

mine owes me about 4k now, including the mods and the car (1.5k for the car, rest on parts).

for this money, i've raced and beat...

Pulsar GTi-R
BMW B10 Alpina 3.2 (was neck and neck)
Golf Mk4 Turbo
TVR Chimera (was neck and neck)
Porsche 911 Carrera 3.6
Calibra 4x4 turbo

also been quicker than 2 scoobies in a straight line although i got slayed through the corners/acceleration on a wet roundabout where i was snaking down the road

its a bargin value for money when you consider performance for cash. mine is now stage 3 and should be near 300bhp.

I always think pics dont do SX's justice, shudve got yourself along to a round of the UKd1 at silverstone, youdve wanted a SX there n then, lol.

S15 Sylvias are Jap and Oz only.

S13s and S14s were sold in the USA but only non Turbo.

S13s and S14s were sold in the UK as turbo only.

S13/14/15 were sold in Japan with bloody loadsa different engines

No difference in engine/beakes etc

S14a is basicly a facelift model, MUCH meaner looking, different front n rear lights etc, nicer inside, blah blah

a couple of mates and i wanted a track car and were seriously considering a 200sx s14a. but then a saff cossie came up for a grand, and we couldn't turn it down.

Are they fuck

Ever driven many S13s vs 14s? I have, S13 good but 14s are miles better.

And lardy? They weigh almost the same Less than 50kg between them if i remember right, 1200kg vs 1250 or near enough (ie around std RWD cossie weight), and the S14 has 200cc more, bigger turbo, 200bhp vs what, 170bhp...

Never mind much nicer handling, brakes, outside, inside, etc etc

Totaly standard S14a front

R34GTR sorta style (but smaller) for the front bumper n evil headlights, looks smart as fuck.
That car in pic is totaly standard and as you can see, only the poo std wheels spoil it.

Heres a normal S14

This S14 isnt standard, its got a bodykit (so you can imagine how dull the std kit is ) but you can see the more boring round front lights etc, but can see its the same basic car really, just before the S14a facelift (interior etc is nicer in S14a's, and the rear lights are similar, but red/tinted, instead of a huge red/orange panel on S14s)

Now you know the lights difference, you can use google or autotrader or whatever to look at some totaly std ones if want, or modded ones, millions of pics on net of that...

I've just been browsing a few sites and didnt realise what kind of money they go for There a lot of car for the money! I prefer the tourer models personally, is that what you call the S14's?

Touring was just the UK name for the ones with Leather n stuff (and i think nicer side skirts on S14a's i cant remember), can get S14s and S14a's with the Touring pack i think (dont get an auto tho )

my old girl's 13 has a set of wolfrace 17's on bless her . she kurbed every fookin one of em in less than a week

superb reliable cars tho , not had an ounce of bother in the 17k miles shes done in it

Black is the best colour for S14a's by far, looks awesome.

Bren (remember him from RSOC BB?) owns Apex and his car is a black S14a on 18" white MO's and i dont think it really suiits it, they quite a bling looking car with the rims on, esp with the black leather, motorsport wheels dont suit em.

Miles wise, well one of my mates ones has well over 100k on it and abused ike you wont belive, and still sounds n goes as good as another mates with 50k on the clock and FSH

yeh I know who Bren is..

BUT I HATE BLING WHEELS ahhhh Wheel mania needs burning down. If u ask me.

Sorry i have to say it shings, but its a trip to wheelmania for rims that really suit a black S14a touring

One of my mates got 18s of these...


And another had the 18" straight/flat 6spoke Kahns.

Its jus what suits, and suddenly makes the car look twice as eveil and 3 times as expensive, its like Nissan made quite a flashy car, then realised they wanted to put it in a cheaper price range, so dulled it down a bit with some crap rims

Honestly mate u can fuck off.. I'd rather stick with std.. at least that way when I twat in to kurbs sideways I aint bothered.

Was looking at suspension mods and they do everything.. Fuck the dark ages of the RS world.

Fully adjustable front and rear ARB's readily available and cheap enuff. and coilovers like they're going out of fashion.
Loads of poly bushs tho

TBH every person i know has totaly std suspension and its fucking good, but they dont do track deays, just treat the roads like em

Best ive ever known on a std car barring maybe my m8s M3EVO.

Can hang it sideways perfectly and nice n comfy too.

Damn sure for the track some improvments will be handy tho...

Can buy some Tein in-car adjustable suspension...
Coilovers that have an electronic things on em so the hardness can be adjusted while driving by a fancy electronic controller in the car, so can go from comfy to rock hard, just like that.

I LOVE all the 200's! I am going to get an S13 in about 2 years.....its set in stone, as soon as insurance isnt gonna rape me and i can afford a nice i'm gettin one
