I've got the chance to buy a 455bhp engine...

h section rods
coopers ring head gasket
t4 turbo
greys
swedish plenum
200 block
etc etc

how much would this cost to build to this spec?....

38mm external wastegate with screamer pipe
rs500 intercooler

8-9k for a fresh one i reckon, budget 10k just to be sure and if you dont spend it all you can by yourself a 50p mixup as a reward.

Nigh on standard iirc ? Grp A gasket, 4x4 inlet, GT3071, I swear it was around those figures.

The key is reliability but I am sure Mark wouldn't push stock parts beyond ( what he considers) their limits.

Nigh on standard iirc ? Grp A gasket, 4x4 inlet, GT3071, I swear it was around those figures.

does a 4x4 saph inlet flow better than a 2wd just out of interest? i know everyone reccomends the small turbo escos inlets?

i should hope so for 10k id want nigh on 600 hp ready. my car was only 8k with fresh built 470 hp lump.

let someone else take the loss and buy one done, the only way imo. just loose a fortune otherwise.

600hp for 10k imoisnt going to happen ! , especially if your having it built for you !!

you can do things on the cheap, but in the end its going to end up costing more when things break !

500hp can be done cheapish, but when your knocking at 600 things change, drastically !

i understand that mate, my point is its not worth it. euans car was only 10k and that must of been nigh on 600 bhp on an engine dyno.
that was an awesome car, if it hadnt been rotten id of bought it.
