I inadvertently clicked on a link in one of the 50 spam e-mails I get every day offering me 'replica' watches and ended up on a site called http://talltide.com
which is full of replica watches of all makes, seems the going price is $229 so these aint the cheap £25 Singapore rip offs from the 90's
Whats the score with these ?
Has anyone on here got one ?

I have had loads, there are different grades when it comes to replica watches, you can pay up to £800 for a replica Rolex, which you will get a near genuine watch without paperwork, genuine strap, genuine crystal screen, genuine pearl faces etc etc.
For around £100 you can get good replicas,
There are chinese movement and swiss movement, the swiss ETA are the more expensive watches and the ones to go for which usually start at around £150.
I have a gold Day Date Rolex which I have had for 2 years now, with a swiss movement in it and its been great, still going very strong indeed.

forgot to mention, good replicas come with the rolex hologram on the back and also ROLEX etched into the inside of the screen at the bottom so look out for this.

seriously its about the feel good factor, im no rich man but i like a decent watch so i have a omega seamaster, cracking watches and dare i say it better build quality than rolex etc, top watches plus you can buy a used item in good condition with paperwork for £500 upwards, in ten years time my watch will still be worth 500, so once you have one you got a watch for life, every year or so flog it add some more and go upwards, the idea is by the time your 30 or 40 you will have a few grands worth on your wrist and something to leave the kids

Sod that!
I just could not justify spending maybe £200/£300 on a pair on sunglasses i would probably sit on and break!
Likewise with £5000 for a pretty watch!
Each to their own and the world would be a boring place if we all had the same opinions!

I'm just sick of the cheaper one's I buy breaking without sitting on them or standing on them, will make sure I get a hard case with them.
It would be boring yes, as you say each to their own.

Really not sure which ones I want, have looked at Dior, Bvlgari, Prada & Versace. But have no idea which ones I like the best

dont buy fakes and keep these companies in buisness,usually ran by gangsters!,whats the point in wearing a £2k and up watch replica and driving a ford!
seriously for 2/3/4 undred quid you can get a nice watch anyways seiko,tw steel,and the likes
me personally i,d never buy a fake watch as said in the post above decent 2nd hand omega seamaster quarts at around 500 quid are an excellent buy and investment
post on any watch forum that your looking at fakes and buying and you,ll get pulled to pieces
just my 2p worth

When it comes to watches I have to buy an expensive one as i'm allergic to nickel the metal found in most cheaper watches.
