saph dashboards have slots at either end where the a pilar trim sits into, 3 doors dont. i fitted a dash in my old 3 door out of a d reg 2.0s sierra, perfect fit, colour and no speaker grill and no cracks either
i have a saff dash in my 3 door because the original was sooooo bad,,, it fits very well and looks better than the cracked one ,,, it will be getting flocked anyhow
I have a uncracked dash from a early xr4x4 , same colour as my 3 door one with no cracks . Just dont have speaker grill in it ,but better than aload of cracks

I know the 3 doors are like a cardboard
Mine is like a cardboard from inside and also having a piece of metal sheet from side to side but I haven't seen a 3door dash from inside to say if it is the same...
