Default mt75 gearbox's, are they all the same???

ive got a saf 4x4 coz, the gearbox is noisy on it , i have seen advertised a mt75 4x4 / xr / 2ltr gearbox for sale, will this be the same as my cozzy one???, if not , what type of box will mine have? it comes with th transfer box inacse that matters

I'm led to beleive the 2.0 DOHC 4x4 MT75 is the same bolt pattern. I'm 99% certain the ratio's are the same too. The V6 4x4 MT75 however is most certainly different.

cheers rob, so this box 'should' go straight in and work the same as a normal coz one?

I beleive so, check with ford to see if the finis is the same. I suspect it is... depends how much of a break down you can get off of microcat as you'll prolly find alot of common components.

I've seen the MTX75 of RS2000 bolted up to Cossie YB's b4, quite common amongst kit car's.

I threw out a DOHC 4x4 box a lil while back wish I had kept it and bung it on ebay
