Default does this remove a write off from a HPI check ?

just found a link to this site http://www.autoligninspections.co.uk/inspections.html

and it states on the website
Any vehicle that passes the inspection will be thoroughly roadworthy and within three days the vehicle will be removed from the HPI condition alert register. ?
has anybody actually ever taken a car for one of these checks ?

and does it remove the car from being registered as a cat C or D then ?

or have a just read it wrong

cheers

In a lot of cases, most cars, after being repaired and welded properly (ie seam welded instead of the usual spot) can be a lot safer than they were when they left the factory.

The local plod once checked a friend's car after he'd been involved in a collision with a pedestrian. This had at one time had a front ender but they couldn't find fault with it and said that it was safer due to the repairs.

the inspection is to do with the valuation i belive, if yu got say a 50k porsche and its been wrote off then the next payout the value of the car will be classed as 25k due to the former claim writing it off

getting a inspection shows the true value of it again and so wont be classed as a lesser car,,,,, thats what i was told though i aint got any proof either way to confirm its true or bollox,,,,,, this was a conversation in a sauna of a gym so,,,, well its the 21st centurys version of " i was told by a bloke down the pub"
