are you going to bump the price up because of demand then
just remember to put my name on a set please
i can say that with even decent rubber ones in place, there is still more movement that i would have liked, with one bolt missing it's damn right difficult to get into gear
and make sure you have thebox out before you start working on it as it's just a little cramped getting your hands into the gaps that don't exist

Yeah they're the ones mate, I have got the engine and box out at the minute and found that the rubber bushes are no more lol, the damn thing is held together purely by luck so seen them and thought I might ask.
I'm after a set so if they're available on here someone pm me please

fittign a quickshift at the same time deffo makes it worth while rather than taking it apart again
all you need to do though is make sure that the little bolt underneath is tight enough without being too tight as oherwise you will have wasted all the effort and expense of fitting the uprated stuff as the change will be sloppier than a case of week old yoghurt
and yes, i made that mistake and had to suffer with it
also make sure that the bolts are in nice and tight and you use threadlock on them to stop them working lose
and don't snap the clip rings that hold the selector rod in place

Also gotta ask how is the sierra going mate? did you get it all finished by top boss or take it somewhere else?

the sierra is still awaiting an oil pipe that split, but it means takig the rack out which means dropping the crossmember as the bolts are too long to come out
you don't need to remove the box but you do need to drop the rear end, which may mean also dropping the exhaust and it's a fair bit of fiddling

Are these alloy bushes good then or am I better off fitting poly bushes to the gearbox cradle. I've been messing about with my car and noticed the gearbox cradle is really sloppy.

very worthwhile Glenn, next time your passing the unit and i'm in come and try the race car that has the alloy ones fitted and a quickshift knuckle, make it feel much better.
its a gear box out the to do, (you can do it with the box in but its too much grief)
