what car trailers do you have?
the reason i ask is that i have an ifor williams one, its great and can put anything on it.... except the escos which is a night mare, front splitter to low.
have to jack up the trailer , lengthen the ramps with wood, try park with trailer faces down hill so less gradient on the ramps...
just thinking of upgrading.

me and my uncle are just building a hydraulic tilting recovery truck, not a slider, it still has ramps, but it tilts, should be mint when its done, because there is no beaver you can get really low stuff on
i went to some trailer place in leyland the other day and they had these new ifor tilting car trailers, they were really good

steve...thats a proper pikey trailer
i used o have a tilt bed brian james i bought off a guy who had had the ramps modded to take his lambo, my 3 door with 500 splitter would go on it no probs, i sold it after 5 years i got the Ł1500 i paid back for it.
i now have a tri axle plant trailet with 4ft extensions on the ramps which i can get very low stuff onto

looking at that its an old 70s/80s chassis steve with the old mega wide stud pattern, i dont have any wheels for them but you will get a rim from towsure.co.uk for around Ł20 i think
ps i took my tri axle as a p/x against a caravan.... it was 6 months old and isnt costing me much more than yours i,ll keep it for 25years and get my money back

...............
Ive got a Bateson plant trailer with hydraulic tilt bed, tows superbly and will take a transit but the biggest Ive ever had on it is a Saab. I only use it for my Fiesta now tho. Was Ł1500 about 4 or 5 years ago, would get something approaching that now if i was to sell it.

Andy,
Stop messing and just buy a new Brian James RS3 shuttle....they'll throw in the extra long ramps, which are made from ally, so they're really light, negotiate on the electric winch and heavy duty hitch......they are the easiest trailer i've ever loaded and your car wont get shit up whilst you travel....plus its an extra dry storage facility when parked up the yard.....they were 5K ish as long as you can afford to have that sort of cash tied up in a trailer they're worth every penny....
