The gods smiled on me today!
After my ERST breaking down yet again last night i decided to get uner it today and pull apart, clean and rewire the starter motor as it was on thr fritz. Then managed to sell some stuff on ebay and gather up enough funds to get the escort to the tuners this week for a set up. Then, on the way to the pub to celebrate the good day with a pint, bumped into an old friend that i had not seen for 2 years whos now working at a paint shop literally just down the road and said i could take the escort in one weekend for a bit of work and a fresh lick of paint! 
its nice that after 2 years of ownership something has worked out ok.

Well today was the big day (for the second time lol, bloody RST's) and I have my car back from the tuners.
it made 146bhp / 153 Ft Lbs at 3500rpm before the HT leads decided they'd had enough
and dropped the power to 120bhp!
one day that car will go to the tuners and come back with no problem wahts so ever!!

ahh tell me about it. 3rd time its been this year, first time big ends went and required a rebuild. second time the billet actuator was squashed against the radiator, and this time ive got an ignition hiccup!
however, thursday everything should be sorted!
