no, stu can use pectel boards now!
a while ago he could only use std boards, but its all sorted now
you must tell him what board your running so he can use the correct encryption when buying a chip.
if your chip was secondhand, it probably is ecrypted for std board, so you will need one if thats the case, speak to stu, and give him the chip id number, he can confirm what it is

Basically, as you've already got one of our chips encrypted for a standard board, if you can get hold of a replacement standard board, you can swap it over yourself and be back up and running.
If you can't lay your hands on one, then yes, a Pectel board can be used but we will need to sort out exchanging your chip for one with Pectel board encryption
