...decieded Escos is for me 
.....so now the colour will have to be red or that lovely bluey purple 
So what years do i look for????.....i want large turbo,no air con (unless its piss easy to take out!),no air bags????

Air bags from late 93 onwards.
Air con easy to remove.
Red ones are deffo fastest!

J reg (if you can find one-usually press cars) through K,L and M for BIG turbo's
think up to L they didn't have airbags as standard and aircon was an option on all ages as far as I know

it's a full blown rally car dude, hence no rear boot locks
trust me that look is there just to open boot, as in lift it up, rather than using the spoiler

I just happen to know where there is a mint 57k mile L reg in red for sale - stage 1, Rondells, Konis and no air-con
. He wants Ł15.5k. Then there is the white one on the MLR board that is already 400bhp and much nicely modified for not much more...

Aubergine one will be small turbo, unless has previously been converted, though If you going to put you engine in, (Aftermarket management????) it wont be a prob...
