we used to nail the apprentice to the outside of the plywood hoarding outside the shop/pub we were refitting through his sleaves and trousers ankles and undo his trouser button, the more he struggled the further down his trousers fell.
in fact that was all year round anfd not just april fool. the same with the old wood glue and shavings in his sandwiches. he'd fall for that everytime.
