no idea mate, but it's somethng that was an issue with the mk1 focus' as well so you may have more luck with someone who's done one of them

It was also a issue on the mk1 mondy, as I had it.
I sealed mine 100% perfectly with LOCTITE 5900, the rest of the tube can be used on anything on the car around the house etc, awsome stuff, if a little pricey, gave away all my hylomar the 1st time I used this, not looked back since.

normally on mk3 mondeos we see leaks from door trim membranes or speaker mount behind door trim.the mastic comes away at bottom of the door causing the leak.take off door trim from whatever side your noticing the leak and do a quick water test on it.failing water test put your hand around the membrane to see if any part if coming away

I have removed the door card tonight and the membrane looks ok it seems sealed all the way round with some sort of black mastic

How does the water get down the door i thought that if there was water in the door it would go out through the drian holes at the bottom on the door

it's where the door rubbers sit

if it's rained hard when i open the door there is a trickle of water thats caught in the rubber that drips along the sills

I see this everyday at work Brian, you will need what the techies call 'Bootle and 2' - approx 4ft of bootle tape, available from ford and 2 clips to hold the pollen filter housing on. While your there you may as well change the pollen filter too. Any probs drop me a pm on here or the fiesta club and i will sort some out for ya and post it mate.
