Had my Saff for about 200 years now, and it's getting used less and less, so i'm considering upping the power from Stg 1 to Stg 3.

What am I looking at cost wise, 3 bar, greens, chip etc? Will stick with the T3 for now, but probably go bigger eventually which means bigger cooler blah blah blah.

i am just doing this now mate, MSD do it for about £550.
But there's other things to take into consideration, you should put a better breather system on, would ideally want a 500 cooler (if you havn't already got one), and then you have to look at the condition of the engine (head gasket mainly), mine was knackered, so i have group a'd it now, the list goes on!

paul, you will not be disapointed when it's goes to stg3 also get a 4x4 cooler off jacko and fit that at the same time the 2wd is too small imo

as for how much the stoff costs, there plenty of second hand stuff around if you want to go that way,

can cost around £2k if done properly...although on the cheap i'd reckon around a grand.

When i spoke to stu about taking mine to 320 bhp from a standard car, i got the chip,actuator and map sensor from him and dark greens off here using standard cooler and exhaust etc and it wasnt any more than £500 for everything.

I've no doubt i'll notice a huge difference, I drove Alps' old car when my mate owned it, seriously quick compared to my 274bhp VTEC screamer of a Cossie. That did have a bigger turbo tho etc.

Will keep my eyes open for bits I think, might be something to play with for the next few months.

Fair enough! The engine bay didn't look the same on his resto thread, thats what threw me.

As to whats stg 3? Around 330bhp would do (is that even possible on a T3?)

Thats my other one mate. I use Alps' old Sapph as my current plaything while that resto one is getting done.

Its on greys now, 32 psi, MSD mild anti lag and launch control. It just has that little bit more oomph about it now
