Default need some number plates making just for a day or two...
although I have had the police behind me several times, they have never pulled me for my plates.. Standard font, size etc with just the last letter spaced away slightly..

I have my MOT soon and reckon they may fail on plates so would rather put standard ones back on... saves aggro.

Halfords do these I believe? Do you require ID etc for plates as I swear I read something a whule back mentioning this?

Yes I think you require ID, the rules on this are pretty strict now, however I just got a set off of ebay, much cheaper and less hassle.

Recently had my local Halfords make me up a set of plates for my 205 gti

They just asked to see the V5 for the car & also my photocard driving licence as ID

plain cheapo halfords ones.... 27quid.. all sorted.. only need them for an hour lol..

log book and bankcard required.
