Default running problems

my 3 door cossie is running like a sack of poo at the moment...... doh.. any ideas??? it would seam to be over fuelling badly, and doesnt rev cleanly , as you drive it its like its intermitantly fireing on 3 then 4 then 3 ... like you've washed the engine and its wet in the distributor cap, i did a 35 mile journey and it used over 1/4 of a tank of fuel... we've tried leads and cap, plugs, checked timing, its getting 12v at fuel pump etc.. it ticks over perfect it doesnt like revving. it also feels like no boost is there... anyone?????? cheers tony
