hi guys, fitted the magnex exhaust to my fiesta but it knocks a lot. now on the exhaust there is a bracket in the middle where you attatch a rubber grommit to it, but nothing on the car to slot it onto, may sound silly but what do i actualy need to do to secure it?

can you see where its knocking? my system knocked but it was just a case of undoing all the clamps and tweaking the system to get it to sit right

My other half says that don't look right at all, mine's a 2i 16v but it doesn't fit underneath like that, you sure it's the right one for the car?

Mine was a complete pain to fit, but its never knocked, anywhere.

yes its right, its a perfect fit but just needs to be supported here as it hangs down!

i have seen more than 1 magnex exhaust and they all have this random bracket!

i'm sure my old frst had a bracket made that bolted on where the handbrake was using existing bolts and then a rubber connected to this hanger.

Have you phoned magnex and asked?

all magnex systems for the frst came with an extra bracket you attach to the car like nick says.
if you dont have it, your pretty much stuffed can always try build one but youll need a pic to use, ill check in my pics history to see if i have one for you

brilliant mate a picture would help great!! there is an exhaust fabricators about a mile away who can build me a bracket and weld it on i suppose

well ive looked i the old memebers galery on ft.com, its gona take a while to find it lol especially as im on mobile broadband at work
do a search for gavrst in the galery and its 1 of the 200 pics on there, and theres no thumbnails to help just hope i names it magnex or something!
